Manuscripts within a Special Issue undergo the same peer-review process as regular articles and are published on the same schedule, format, and distribution as regular articles. The final decision on the manuscripts is also made by the journal's editor-in-chief. All editors and reviewers involved in a Special Issue are required to disclose any potential conflicts of interest, which are managed according to the journal's policies. To ensure sustainability, Special Issue articles are integrated with regular submissions for publication. A dedicated column is established to showcase these articles under the Special Issue's theme, ensuring easy access for readers without disrupting the publication flow of regular submissions.
