Agriculture has been fundamental to Vietnam's socio-economic growth, influencing the nation's history, economics, and society. This topical collection aims to offer a thorough platform for examining Vietnam's agricultural policies, practices, and development strategies within diverse historical and economic frameworks. It underscores the importance of critical evaluations of land regulations, sustainable supply chain methods, and the influence of ideology in agricultural advancement.

The collection invites academic submissions that explore Vietnam's agricultural transformations after 1976, emphasising the development of policies focused on modernisation and sustainability. Furthermore, it encourages research that explores the convergence of economic practices and environmental factors, including the implementation of green supply chains in agricultural export operations. Submissions addressing Ho Chi Minh's philosophical and ideological perspectives on agricultural development and their applicability to modern tactics are especially welcomed.

This subject collection seeks to cultivate an interdisciplinary discussion by integrating multiple perspectives to inform policymakers, scholars, and practitioners. It aims to improve comprehension of the issues and opportunities within Vietnam's agriculture sector, offering significant insights for sustainable and equitable development. Prospective authors are invited to submit original research, reviews, and theoretical analyses pertinent to these issues.

How to Submit Manuscripts?

You can submit your manuscript in two ways:

Please visit the Submissions Guidelines page before submitting a manuscript. Submitted papers should be well formatted and use good English. Manuscripts should be submitted online through the online manuscript submission and editorial system. Additionally, please include a cover letter specifying that the manuscript is intended for the Topical Collection "Vietnam's Agricultural Policies and Development: Historical, Economic, and Strategic Perspectives " when submitting it online. Manuscripts can be submitted until the submission deadline. All submissions that pass pre-check are peer-reviewed. Accepted papers will be published continuously in the journal and will be listed together on the Topical Collection website. Research articles, review articles as well as short communications are invited. For planned papers, a title and short abstract can be sent to the sent to the relevant editor ojs@nassg.org for announcement on this website.

The Article Processing Charge (APC) for publication in this open access journal is 800 USD.

Submitted manuscripts should not have been published previously, nor be under consideration for publication elsewhere (except conference proceedings papers). All manuscripts are thoroughly refereed through a double-blind peer-review process.
