  • Honors for Editorial Board: Stanford's 'Top 2% of Scientists 2023' List

    Stanford University has recently unveiled its "World's Top 2% of Scientists 2023" list, which features nine distinguished members of the editorial board of Sustainable Marine Structures (ISSN: 2661-3158).

    This ranking, based on bibliometric data from Scopus, highlights the top 2% of scientists globally, categorizing them into various fields. It offers two categories: Career-long Impact Ranking (1960-2022 data) and Single Year Impact Ranking (2022 data). The Career-long Impact Ranking assesses lifelong contributions, while the Single Year Impact Ranking looks at recent academic impact. The list provides a measure of the long-term research performance of scientists, which can more objectively and truthfully reflect the influence of scientists.

    We extend our warmest congratulations to our Editor-in-Chief, Prof. Dr. Erkan Oterkus, and the eight esteemed Editorial Board Members for this outstanding achievement.   • Welcome Professor Yufei Wu to the Sustainable Marine Structures Editorial Board

    Yu-Fei Wu is a Professor in the College of Civil and Transportation Engineering at Shenzhen University in China and the School of Engineering at RMIT University in Australia. He received his PhD from the University of Adelaide, Australia.

    His research interests are mainly in the field of structural engineering, including concrete materials and structures, marine structures, structural engineering design, composite materials and structures, FRP structures, and structural repair, and he has published numerous high-quality academic papers in this field. He has been listed in Elsevier's "China's Highly Cited Scholars" list in the field of civil engineering and has been listed in Stanford University's World's Top 2% Scientists in Civil Engineering. career ranking in the top 100 worldwide.

    You can become a Guest Editor in two ways:

    1. Received a contribution invitation (Topics suggested by the Editors and Editorial Board Members, and you are an acknowledged expert on a particular topic).
    2. Submit a proposal for a special issue to our journal (In addition to a topic suggested by the Editor-in-Chief or Editorial Board Members, you may also propose any theme for a Special Issue that fits the scope of the journal).

    Previous Publication Dates: January and July each year.
    New Publication Dates: March and September each year.
