Dear Colleagues,
The marine environment is vital to Earth's ecosystem, providing essential resources, regulating the climate, and supporting countless species, including humans. However, it faces significant threats from pollution, overfishing, habitat destruction, and climate change. To ensure the sustainability of marine ecosystems, collective efforts and sustainable practices are crucial.
This special issue shall deal with academics, research professionals and other scholars in publishing their original papers or reviews relevant to the marine environment and ecosystems towards world sustainability. We cordially invite you to contribute your valuable research and expertise to this special issue that is edited exclusively by Prof. Tran Dinh Lan (Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology) and Prof. Luc Hens (VITO-Flemish Organization for Technological Research).
The scope of this special issue is (but not limited to) as follows:

Manuscript Submission Information:
Please visit the Submissions Guidelines page before submitting a manuscript. Submitted papers should be well formatted and use good English. Manuscripts should be submitted online through the online manuscript submission and editorial system. Additionally, please include a cover letter specifying that the manuscript is intended for the Topical Collection "Sustainability of Marine Environment and Ecosystems" when submitting it online. Manuscripts can be submitted until the submission deadline. All submissions that pass pre-check are peer-reviewed. Accepted papers will be published continuously in the journal and will be listed together on the Topical Collection website. Research articles, review articles as well as short communications are invited. For planned papers, a title and short abstract can be sent to the relevant editor tina@nassg.org.
Submitted manuscripts should not have been published previously, nor be under consideration for publication elsewhere (except conference proceedings papers). All manuscripts are thoroughly refereed through a double-blind peer-review process.
