Circular Economy Innovation and Development is an interdisciplinary, open-access journal dedicated to advancing research, ideas, and practices in the circular economy field.

A "circular economy"  would seek to close loops and reduce waste by repurposing materials that have outlived their usefulness as resources for others. Circular economy is centered around the efficient and cyclical use of resources, guided by principles of sharing, leasing, reusing, repairing, refurbishing and recycling materials and products as long as it can. It is characterized by low consumption, low emissions, and high efficiency, ultimately representing a sustainable, green, and low-carbon economic development model. The ultimate goal is to achieve high levels of resource efficiency and sustainability.

The journal provides a platform for scholars, researchers, policymakers, practitioners, and industry professionals to share innovative strategies and solutions for creating a sustainable and regenerative circular economy.    View full aims and scope
